The 3-Layer Confluence Method

No mystery, no black box. This is the entire skeleton of the approach, so you can judge it before you trust it.

Layer 1: The Astro Window (the WHEN)

Lunations, eclipses, planetary stations, and the natal charts of the coins themselves. Yes, Bitcoin has a birth chart: January 3, 2009, the day its first block was mined, and its chart responds to transits in ways that can be studied across its entire price history.

This layer produces time windows where the probability of a significant move rises. It never says "buy." It says "pay attention here." A window with nothing else behind it is a note on a calendar, not a decision.

Layer 2: The Technical Level (the WHERE)

Structure, key support and resistance, liquidity zones, invalidation. Standard technical analysis, with one difference: the only levels that matter are the ones that sit inside or near an active astro window. Everything else is noise to be patient through.

Layer 3: The Trigger (the CONFIRMATION)

The price behavior that confirms a window is live. This is what separates "an eclipse is coming, something might happen" from an actual plan with defined risk. No trigger, no action. The Trigger does two jobs: it says whether an event is big enough to matter, and it says which way the market is actually leaning.

Magnitude, is this extreme enough to matter:

Direction, which way:

Nearly everything on both lists above can be checked by anyone, on any free charting site, without trusting a word of the astrology. Pull up a chart and look at the VIX, the liquidation data, the divergence, the trend line yourself. That verifiable layer is the whole point.

The layers are not equal partners

Window and Level are context. They describe conditions worth watching. The Trigger is different: it is not a read on the market, it is the market itself, price behavior happening in real time. Confluence across all three raises the probability of being right. When the layers disagree, price gets the final word.

The default rule: two out of three is not enough. An astro window with no level? Wait. A perfect level with no timing window? Wait. A window and a level with no trigger? Wait. That discipline is what filters out the noise, and it is the hardest part to learn alone.

When a trigger can stand alone

There is one narrow exception to the default rule above. A trigger can stand alone, ahead of a confirmed window and level, when two things are both true: the event is historically extreme, and the market's response to it is unambiguous. If it takes an argument to call something historically extreme, it does not qualify. That is a strict test on purpose, not an escape hatch, and most events never clear it.

Position

An extreme event's meaning depends on where the cycle already stands. The same liquidation event arriving at a cycle low would point toward close to the opposite conclusion. On 6 October 2025, Bitcoin made a new all-time high alongside the largest liquidation event on record. Because it arrived at a high rather than a low, the direction was unambiguous. On 14 October 2025, Jack posted a video called "I'm Selling," stating he had sold around $112,000 BTC. The call was confirmed by three consecutive down days in the Gann swing count from that 6 October peak. Watch the video, or see the full entry on the Track Record.

Refusal

The other signature is an extreme event where price refuses to do what the fear says it should. On 8 March 2023, two days before the worst of the SVB banking panic, Jack posted a video stating Bitcoin was holding a higher low on the monthly chart against February, and speculating an ABC correction with a possible move toward $25,000, starting around 2:16 in the video. The thesis was set before the panic, not in reaction to it. Bitcoin fell to $19,300 as the SVB collapse unfolded, then recovered, and the higher low held through the stress. Watch the video, or see the full entry on the Track Record.

The event never carries the meaning by itself. The event plus the market's answer to it does.

One more distinction worth being precise about: an override marks a change of regime, not automatically a reversal downward. A regime change can resolve as a sharp move in either direction, or as a long stretch of sideways price. The override says a change is likely. It does not say which shape that change takes beyond what the Trigger layer itself confirms.

What the method learned from being wrong

In April 2026 the method called for a dump in the first half of the month followed by a rebound. It did not play out that way. The window was real, but the directional call was forced before the technical trigger confirmed. That miss is documented on the Track Record next to the hits, because a method that cannot show you its failures cannot teach you its discipline. Window and level are not enough without the trigger. That is not a slogan; it is a lesson that cost real money to learn.

The hardest layer is not on a chart

Both cases above required acting against a strong feeling. October 2025 felt euphoric: new highs, no reason to think it would end. March 2023 felt like the floor was giving way: a bank collapse and a stablecoin wobble arriving together. In both cases, the right action ran against the feeling in the room. Noticing the feeling, and acting on the layers instead of it, is the real skill here. It has nothing to do with mysticism and everything to do with discipline under pressure.

The research behind it

The astro layer is not guessed. It is built on a transit-by-transit study of Bitcoin's full price history, from a fraction of a cent in 2010 through every major top and bottom since: which planetary cycles coincided with peaks, which with bottoms, which patterns repeated and which failed. Pieces of that research are published regularly in the Learn section and on YouTube, so you can inspect the raw material yourself.

What this method is for

It is an educational tool, not a prediction engine and not financial advice. Its goal is to move you from trading on emotion to trading on probabilities: recognizing when fear is creating opportunity, when euphoria is creating danger, and when the only right move is patience. Not perfectly. Not with certainty. With a strategic edge, applied consistently.
